Description

The frame of the filter press is made of hard steel and creates the supporting structure for the other components. It consists of the front steel plate, supporting plate fitted with a hydraulic cylinder and shifting plates, squeezing the filtration plates. The front and supporting plates are connected by sidebars or an overhead beam.

There are two basic types of frames:

Frame with sidebars

Benefits and fields of use:

The most frequently used frame structure

Light structure

Easy access to all machine components

Description:

The filtration plates are fitted and guided along two sidebars parallel with the longitudinal axis of the filter press. The offer includes models with all plate formats – sizes of 400 x 400 mm up to 1500 x 2000 mm

Frame with overhead beam

Benefits and fields of use:

  • Rigid and robust structure
  • High resistance to extreme stress in very aggressive environments
  • Free access to the filtration plates

The frame with an overhead beam is mainly used for heavy-duty operations.

Description:

The filtration plates are suspended on an overhead beam (or more overhead beams), parallel with the longitudinal axis of the filter press and located above the set of plates. This type of frame is offered for plates of sizes 1000 x 1000 mm up to 1500 x 2000 mm (filtration surface area from 70 m2 to 650 m2).
